　　蘭花一向給人清新脫俗的感覺，在北大武山深處，生長著一種台灣相當有代表性的高山原生蘭花-台灣一葉蘭，與檜木一樣均長在盛行雲霧帶，以阿里山地區分佈最多，由於通常僅長有一片葉，而得其名。由於盜採，數量因此銳減，已被列為保育類植物。每年3-4月為花期，花朵單一，偶見二朵，呈粉紅色、淡紫或深紫色，偶見純白色，相當討人喜愛。北大武山是原生棲地之一，當您見到它的身影，請千萬別動手摘取！讓大家都可以欣賞。

 

 

　　In the deep of Mountain Beidawu one finds Taiwan pleione, an orchid species endemic to Taiwan. It is widely distributed in Ali Mountains, however, due to illegal poaching, the number has significantly reduced. Now a protected species, the orchid blooms in March and April; single flower, rarely two, pale pink, purple, dark purple and rarely pure white. Mountain Beidawu is one of its original habitats.
